PJ day at Luca school

Luca's class had a hibernation day at school. here are a few pictures!

New Cast

Luca got a new cast on his left foot his morning. He was not happy about having to get a cast but is doing fine now that it is on. He picked the color blue. His friends at school have already signed it. I will post a picture soon.

Juliette and Sophia had so much fun playing together this week! So fun to see! Thanks again for wonderful Kathy VanScooten for hosting us! Wish we all lived closer to each other and the Crazy Five cousins too! And all of our cousins on the Walker side! It would be one big party!

Grandma, Grandpa and Juliette

 Married 61 years, the beautiful couple, Jim and Bev. They look as classy as ever on their wedding day.

Hard to smile the morning after Grandma's service. I wish you could have held Juliette in your arms, Grandma! We miss you! I am grateful we would could be with everyone this last week, and hard to leave. Grandpa we love you and we all send a big kiss and hugs. Thinking of you!

Grandma Bev

My sweet Grandma Bev went to be with the Lord yesterday. She always loved to spend time with her many grand and great grand children, was a wonderful gift and letter writer, and an excellent cook and much more!
I will never forget the first time I brought Luca to visit her and Grandpa, after he was born. He was only about 9 or 10 weeks old. Grandma sat with me, on her bed, and held his bent little feet, put precious oil on them and prayed for them. She prayed for healing and God's grace in his life. I know that she prayed many, many more times for Luca and I am so touched by how much she cared for him and for all of us, grandchildren.
I wished I could have introduced her to Juliette. I loved putting Juliette in the special outfits that Grandma had  picked out for her to wear! I am so grateful for all the special and precious memories we shared together. We love and miss you Grandma.
